Software Engineer
Develop software/firmware for:
Embedded instrumentation, PC based configuration software and PC based support applications (both on Linux and Windows)

-Maintain existing software/firmware to extend or fix bugs
-Develop and implement system and module test plans
-Document software according to development plans
--Organize development artifacts to demonstrate compliance with IEC 68501 development process
Maintain code in revision control system (CVS or SVN)

Specifications: (minimum skills, knowledge and abilities to perform the job)
-Strong C and C++skills
-Understanding of code generation
-Understanding of fixed point implementations of floating point computations
-Understanding of RTOS concepts
-Understanding of TCP/IP protocols – TCP, UDP, FTP, HTTP, SNTP, SMTP
-General familiarity with configuring Apache Web Server
-Sufficient grasp of programming concepts to move flexibility between unfamiliar languages
-Experience in both Windows and Linux development environments
-Use of source code control tools (CVS and/or SVN)
-Familiarity with Perl, Python, PHP, and/or MySQL
-Familiarity with Django framework
-General understanding of cryptographic code signing techniques
-Familiarity with HART, MODBUS and Foundation Fieldbus protocols


Regional Sales Manager
Moore Industries-International, Inc. is expanding in North America and is seeking an additional Regional Sales Manager. This person would have sales management responsibilities throughout the Midwest to include TX, LA, AR, MS, OK, NE, KS, IA and MN. The candidate is required to have permanent residence in the Houston, TX area.

Duties
-Set sales strategies to achieve long term order growth
-Create action plans to grow existing customers and convert new customers
-Lead sales representatives to implement these strategies through customer visits, sales presentations and customer seminars
-Train sales representatives on our solutions and products
-Participate in marketing and product development
-Create and present webinars to customers, representatives and peers
-Adhere to all MII Corporate Quality Systems

Additional Requirements:
-Travel within the territory will consume 50-60% of your time
-Minimum four year college degree
-Minimum of 10 years experience in process control/instrumentation business in sales or sales management roles
-Application experience in the major markets – oil, gas, refining, chemical and power
-Work independently day-to-day yet contribute as a team member
-Must possess good oral and written communication skills
-Computer literate in a Windows environment. Proficiency is required in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
-Experience in digital networks including HART, PROFIBUS, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, Ethernet and MODBUS is desirable
